CODE OF VIRGINIA

REGULATION OF MOTORCYCLE, MOPED, OR MOTORIZED SKATEBOARD OR FOOT-SCOOTER NOISE
(§ 15.2-919)

Any locality may, by ordinance, regulate noise from a motorcycle, moped, or
motorized skateboard or foot-scooter, as defined in § 46.2-100, which is not
equipped with a muffler and exhaust system conforming to §§ 46.2-1047 and
46.2-1049, if such noise may be hazardous to the health and well-being of its
citizens.
