CODE OF VIRGINIA (EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2018) CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECK REQUIRED ON CERTAIN EMPLOYEES; REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS (ยง 4.1-103.1) All persons hired by the Authority whose job duties involve access to or handling of the Authority’s funds or merchandise shall be subject to a criminal history records check before, and as a condition of, employment.No person who has been convicted of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude shall be employed or appointed by the Authority.The Department of State Police shall be reimbursed by the Authority for the cost of investigations conducted pursuant to this section.
