CODE OF VIRGINIA

DETENTIVE, CORRECTIONAL AND PENAL INSTITUTIONS (§ 15.2-1120)

A municipal corporation may provide and operate, within or outside the municipal
corporation, detentive, correctional and penal institutions; or may contract
with others for supplying the services and facilities provided at such
institutions.
