CODE OF VIRGINIA

PREVENTION OF TRESPASSING; ANIMALS RUNNING AT LARGE ON HIGHWAYS (§ 15.2-1218)

Any county may prevent trespassing by persons and animals and prevent animals
from running at large upon the public highways, whether such highways are
enclosed by a fence or not.
