CODE OF VIRGINIA

FORM OF ORDINANCES (§ 15.2-1426)

The object of every ordinance, except an ordinance approving a budget, an annual
appropriation ordinance or an ordinance which codifies ordinances, shall be
clearly expressed in its title. All ordinances which repeal or amend existing
ordinances shall identify by title the section to be repealed or amended.
