CODE OF VIRGINIA

GRANTING FRANCHISES FOR OPERATION OF A VEHICULAR FERRY TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM (§
15.2-2105.1)

The authority granted by this article for the granting of franchises by
localities shall include the authority to grant an exclusive franchise for the
operation of a vehicular ferry transportation system in Northumberland County.
The county may regulate such system, including the establishment of fees and
rates.
