CODE OF VIRGINIA

PRESCRIPTIVE EASEMENTS FOR PROVISION OF WATER AND SEWER SERVICES (§
15.2-2109.1)

In an action to establish a prescriptive easement involving the provision of
water and sewer services, a political subdivision shall demonstrate that the use
has continued for a period of at least ten years. This section shall not affect
any other requirement which may be necessary to establish a prescriptive
easement.
