LOCALITIES TO ADOPT ORDINANCES REGULATING SUBDIVISION AND DEVELOPMENT OF LAND
(§ 15.2-2240)

The governing body of every locality shall adopt an ordinance to assure the
orderly subdivision of land and its development.
