CODE OF VIRGINIA

PLACEMENT OF JUVENILE (§ 16.1-269.5)

The juvenile court may order placement of the transferred juvenile in either a
local correctional facility as approved by the State Board of Corrections
pursuant to the limitations of subsections D and E of § 16.1-249 or a juvenile
detention facility.
