CODE OF VIRGINIA

QUALIFICATIONS OF JUDGES (§ 16.1-69.15)

On and after July 1, 1973, every full-time judge and substitute judge of a
district court shall be at the time of his appointment or election a person
licensed to practice law in this Commonwealth.
