CODE OF VIRGINIA

WHEN JUROR NOT ENTITLED TO COMPENSATION (§ 17.1-620)

No person shall be entitled to receive any compensation for service as a juror
if he departs without the leave of the court, or, being summoned as a witness
for the Commonwealth, charges for his attendance as such.
