CODE OF VIRGINIA

DIVERTING WASTEWATER LINE; DIVERTING OR WASTING PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY (§
18.2-162.1)

Any person who willfully and maliciously (i) diverts any public wastewater or
sewer line or (ii) diverts or wastes any public water supply by tampering with
any fire hydrant shall be guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor.
