CODE OF VIRGINIA

ACTIONS ON BEHALF OF COMMONWEALTH OR LOCALITIES (§ 18.2-498.5)

The Attorney General on behalf of the Commonwealth, or the attorney for the
Commonwealth, on behalf of the county or city as the case may be may institute
actions and proceedings for any and all violations occurring within their
jurisdictions.
