CODE OF VIRGINIA

UNLAWFUL CHANGE OF NAME; PUNISHMENT (§ 18.2-504.1)

If any person residing in this Commonwealth changes his name or assumes another
name, unlawfully, he shall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor.
