CODE OF VIRGINIA

OFFENSES COMMITTED WITHIN TOWNS SITUATED IN TWO OR MORE COUNTIES; WHERE
PROSECUTED (§ 19.2-249.1)

An offense or traffic infraction committed within a town situated in two or more
counties within the Commonwealth may be alleged to have been committed, and may
be prosecuted and punished, in any one of such counties.
