§ 42.1-2.1 Executive committee
The Board may also provide for an executive committee, composed of not fewer than five Board members, which committee may exercise powers vested in and perform duties imposed upon the Board by this chapter to the extent designated and permitted by the Board.
History
This law was first created in 1986. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 565 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1986 “Acts” aren’t available online.
