CODE OF VIRGINIA

POWERS OF COMMISSION (§ 21-155)

Each commission, constituting a corporation is hereby invested with the rights,
powers and authority and charged with the duties set forth in this chapter, and
shall constitute a political subdivision of the Commonwealth established as a
governmental instrumentality to provide for the public health and welfare.
