CODE OF VIRGINIA

INFORMATION REGARDING PROCEDURES AND RIGHTS RELATING TO SPECIAL EDUCATION
PLACEMENT AND WITHDRAWAL (§ 22.1-215.1)

Effective July 1, 2001, the Board of Education shall publicize and disseminate
to parents of students who are enrolled in special education programs or for
whom a special education placement has been recommended information regarding
current federal law and regulation addressing procedures and rights related to
the placement and withdrawal of children in special education.
