CODE OF VIRGINIA

(REPEALED EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2016) CONTROL OF FUNDS; RULES AND REGULATIONS;
APPOINTMENT, ETC., OF PRESIDENT, FACULTY AND STAFF (§ 23-174.6)

The board shall control and expend the funds of the corporation and any
appropriation hereafter provided, and shall make all necessary rules and
regulations concerning the University, appoint a president, who shall be its
chief executive officer, and make all provisions for teachers, staff members and
agents, and shall fix their salaries and shall prescribe their duties.
