CODE OF VIRGINIA (REPEALED EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2016) ELIGIBILITY TO SERVE MORE THAN TWO SUCCESSIVE TERMS (§ 23-95) No person except ex officio members shall be eligible to serve for or during more than two successive four-year terms; but after the expiration of the remainder of an unexpired term to which appointed, two additional four-year terms may be served by such a member if appointed thereto.
