CODE OF VIRGINIA

(EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2016) MEMBERSHIP (§ 23.1-2303)

A. The board shall consist of 16 members appointed by the Governor.

B. Notwithstanding § 23.1-1300, members are eligible to serve for a total of
two four-year terms which may be served consecutively; however, a member
appointed by the Governor to serve an unexpired term is eligible to serve two
additional four-year terms.
