CODE OF VIRGINIA

(EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2016) STATE BOARD FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGES ESTABLISHED;
PURPOSE; VIRGINIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEM (§ 23.1-2901)

The State Board for Community Colleges is a corporation under the style of
“the State Board for Community Colleges” that shall establish,
control, and administer a statewide system of publicly supported comprehensive
community colleges, which shall be known as the Virginia Community College
System.
