CODE OF VIRGINIA

COMMISSIONER OF ELECTIONS TO SERVE AS STATE COORDINATOR FOR THE ADMINISTRATION
OF THE NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION ACT (§ 24.2-404.1)

The Commissioner of Elections shall be the chief state election officer
responsible for the coordination of state responsibilities under the National
Voter Registration Act (52 U.S.C. § 20501 et seq.).
