INSPECTION OF GAME AND FISH WITHOUT ARREST (§ 29.1-209)

In order to see that bag or creel limits are being observed, conservation police
officers shall also have the power to inspect game, fur-bearing animals and fish
taken by any person found hunting, trapping or fishing without arresting the
person.
