CODE OF VIRGINIA

MEMBER MUST OBEY WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS (§ 30-8)

Any court or judge awarding a writ of habeas corpus, directed to a member of the
General Assembly, shall have power to compel obedience to such writ.
