Such certificate shall be registered subject to such documentary evidence requirements as the Board shall by regulation prescribe to substantiate the alleged facts of birth.sectionAA1A summary statement of the evidence submitted in support of the delayed registration shall be endorsed on the certificate.sectionCC1 When an applicant does not submit the documentation required in the regulations for delayed registration or when the State Registrar finds reason to question the validity or adequacy of the proposed certificate or the documentary evidence, if the deficiencies are not corrected, the State Registrar shall not register the delayed certificate of birth and shall notify the applicant of the reasons for this action and shall also advise the applicant of his right to petition for a court order pursuant to § 32.1-260.sectionD1D12 The Board may by regulation provide for the dismissal of an application which is not actively pursued.sectionD2D22
