CODE OF VIRGINIA TREATMENT OF PERSON ADMITTED WHILE APPEAL IS PENDING (§ 37.2-822) Whenever the director of any facility reasonably believes that treatment is necessary to protect the life, health, or safety of a person, treatment may be given during the period allowed for any appeal unless prohibited by order of a circuit court in the county or city wherein the appeal is pending.
