Whenever any person is admitted to a state facility, the Commissioner shall inquire forthwith into the nationality of the person. If it shall appear that the person is an alien, the Commissioner shall notify immediately the United States immigration officer in charge of the district in which the state facility is located.Upon the official request of the United States immigration officer in charge of the territory or district in which is located any district court judge or special justice certifying or ordering the admission of any alien to a state facility, the clerk of the court shall furnish, without charge, a certified copy in duplicate of any record pertaining to the case of the admitted alien. This information shall be deemed confidential.
