PERSONS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS NOT TO BE CONFINED IN CELLS WITH CRIMINALS (§
37.2-832)

In no case shall any sheriff or jailer confine any person with mental illness in
a cell or room with prisoners charged with or convicted of crimes.
