CODE OF VIRGINIA PENALTIES (§ 45.1-282) A. Any person who violates any provision of this chapter, or who fails, neglects or refuses to comply with any rule or regulation issued by the Director, or final order of a court lawfully issued, shall be subject to a civil penalty, not to exceed $ 10,000, for each violation. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. B. The Chief shall have the authority to restrain violations of this chapter in accordance with the provisions of § 45.1-358.
