CODE OF VIRGINIA

SIZE, DESIGN, AND COLOR OF SIGNS, SIGNALS, AND MARKINGS ERECTED BY LOCAL
AUTHORITIES (§ 46.2-1312)

Traffic signs and traffic signals and markings placed or erected by local
authorities pursuant to this title shall conform in size, design, and color to
those erected for the same purpose by the Department of Transportation.
