CODE OF VIRGINIA

FEE FOR CERTIFICATE OF TITLE; USE IN SPECIAL FUND (§ 46.2-627)

The fee to be paid to the Department for the issuance of each original
certificate of title shall be ten dollars.  The fee to record a supplemental
lien and issue a new title shall be six dollars.  All fees collected under the
provisions of this section shall be paid into the state treasury and set aside
as a special fund to be used to meet the expenses of the Department.
