CODE OF VIRGINIA

OPERATION FOR HIRE OF CERTAIN VEHICLES REGISTERED AS NOT-FOR-HIRE; PENALTY (§
46.2-724)

If a motor vehicle of over 10,000 pounds registered gross weight that is
registered to be operated exclusively not-for-hire is operated for-hire, the
licensee shall be guilty of a traffic infraction. This penalty shall be in
addition to the penalty prescribed by § 46.2-704.
