CODE OF VIRGINIA

COMMISSION AS NOTARY (§ 47.1-21)

The commission of a notary public shall be four years, except as shall be
otherwise provided in this title. The commission of a notary public shall expire
in the fourth calendar year after issuance of his commission on the last day of
the month in which the notary was born.
