PAY INCENTIVES FOR PRISONERS (§ 53.1-43)

The Director may, subject to the approval of the Board, establish a system of
pay incentives for prisoners confined in any state correctional facility. Such
system may provide for the payment of a bonus to any prisoner who is assigned to
employment in any position of responsibility or who performs his job in an
exemplary manner.
