CODE OF VIRGINIA

APPOINTMENT OF SUPERINTENDENT AND GUARDS (§ 53.1-97)

The governing body of the county or city establishing and maintaining a farm may
appoint a superintendent of the farm and necessary guards therefor who shall
serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority.
