COMPENSATION SHALL NOT IMPLY BROKERAGE RELATIONSHIP (§ 54.1-2140)

The payment or promise of payment or compensation to a real estate broker does
not create a brokerage relationship between any broker, seller, landlord, buyer
or tenant.
