ADDITIONAL POWER OF THE BOARD (§ 54.1-3012)

In addition to other powers enumerated in this title, the Board may take those
steps necessary to obtain recognition by the United States Secretary of
Education as a reliable authority concerning the quality of education offered by
educational institutions or programs in the area of practical nursing.
