CODE OF VIRGINIA

TRIAL BY JURY; JUDGMENT OF COURT (§ 55-177)

The court may cause a jury to be impaneled to ascertain any facts which may be
disputed and if it see fit may set aside the verdict and have a new jury
impaneled. Its decision shall be such as the rights of the petitioner may
require.
