CODE OF VIRGINIA

ACTION THEREFOR; IF WASTE WANTON, DOUBLE DAMAGES (§ 55-214)

Any person, entitled to damages in any such case, may recover the same in an
action on the case. If it shall be found by the jury that the waste was
committed wantonly, judgment shall be for double the amount of damages assessed
therefor.
