CODE OF VIRGINIA

REPEAL OF CHARTER (§ 56-8)

The charter of every public service corporation heretofore or hereafter
incorporated may be repealed by any future General Assembly; but no law shall be
passed for taking from a company its works or property without making to it just
compensation.
