CODE OF VIRGINIA

DEFINITIONS (§ 6.2-2100)

As used in this chapter, unless the context requires a different
meaning:”Check casher” means a person engaged in the business of
cashing checks, drafts, or money orders for compensation.”Item” 
means a check, draft, or money order.”Registrant”  means a person
registered under this chapter.”Registration” means a registration
filed under this chapter.
