CODE OF VIRGINIA

SERVICE OF PROCESS OR NOTICE ON STATUTORY AGENT; COPY TO BE SENT TO DEFENDANT
AND CERTIFICATE FILED WITH COURT; EFFECTIVE DATE OF SERVICE (§ 8.01-326.1)

Any statutory agent who has been served with process or notice shall forthwith
mail a copy of such process or notice to the person or persons to be served at
the last known post office address of such person and file a certificate of
compliance with the papers in the action.  Service of process or notice on a
statutory agent shall be effective as of the date the certificate of compliance
is filed with the clerk of the court in which the action or suit is pending.
