CODE OF VIRGINIA

WHEN DEATH TO ABATE SUCH SUIT (§ 8.01-72)

A suit instituted under this article shall abate by reason of the death of the
person under a disability unless a sale, exchange, lease, encumbrance,
redemption, or other disposition of real estate has been confirmed by a decree
in such suit.
