NOTIFYING DEFENDANT OF CONSEQUENCES CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS CAN HAVE ON IMMIGRATION

Upon the defendant’s first physical appearance for any misdemeanor or
felony, the court shall advise the defendant of the following: The outcome of
criminal proceedings may have federal immigration and naturalization
consequences.
