						<section><p>Logging equipment and railroad locomotives operated in, through, or near forestland, brushland or fields containing dry grass or other inflammable <span class="dictionary">material</span> shall be equipped with appliances and maintained to prevent, as far as may be possible, the escape of fire and sparks from the smokestacks. Any person failing to comply with these requirements shall be guilty of a Class 4 <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span> for each <span class="dictionary">offense</span> committed.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 10-65; 1986, c. 188; 1988, c. 891.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
