						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Board</span> is the successor in interest to that political subdivision formerly known as the Virginia <span class="dictionary">Airports</span> Authority. As such, the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> stands in the place and stead of, and assumes all rights and duties formerly of, such Authority, including but not limited to all leases, <span class="dictionary">contracts</span>, grants-in-aid and all other agreements of whatsoever nature; holds title to all realty and personalty formerly held by such Authority; and may exercise all powers which might at any time past have been exercised by said Authority.</p></section></text><history>1980, c. 750.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
