						<section><p>No person shall conduct or <span class="dictionary">pilot</span> a vessel to or from sea, or to or from any port or place in Virginia unless he is licensed under this chapter.</p><p>Warrants for persons violating this section may be issued by any <span class="dictionary">magistrate</span>, upon the <span class="dictionary">oath</span> of any <span class="dictionary">party</span> complaining, and shall be returnable to the <span class="dictionary">Circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">Court</span> of the City of Norfolk. After a <span class="dictionary">bond</span> <span class="dictionary">hearing</span> held pursuant to Chapter 9 (&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Definitions" href="/19.2-119/">19.2-119</a> et seq.) of Title 19.2, the <span class="dictionary">bond</span> shall be returned by the judicial officer to the <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> of the City of Norfolk, which shall have <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> for <span class="dictionary">trial</span> of such <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 54-571; 1988, c. 765.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
