						<section><p>Any provision in any agreement or <span class="dictionary">franchise</span> subject to the provisions of this chapter purporting to <span class="dictionary">waive</span> or to directly or indirectly limit the constitutional rights of a <span class="dictionary">dealer</span> (i) to <span class="dictionary">petition</span> any governmental authority or body or (ii) lawfully to seek or oppose any governmental or regulatory action with respect to any matter, notwithstanding any contrary position taken by the <span class="dictionary">franchisor</span> thereon, shall be null and void.</p></section></text><history>1994, c. 170.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
