This is Article 1 of the Code of Virginia, titled “Proof and Verdicts.” It is part of Chapter 17 “Convictions; Effect Thereof”, which is part of Title 19.2 “Criminal Procedure”.

It’s comprised of the following 10 sections.

§ 19.2-283	How accused may be convicted of felony

§ 19.2-285	Accused guilty of part of offense charged; sentence; on new trial what tried
